Very cozy and nostalgic. The wait staff were traditional pretty women taking orders and serving delicious. Just like 50+ years ago when the Diner first opened. The food was delicious and the portions were good size. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Stopped in yesterday for lunch with 13 other people unannounced and received a warm welcome. We all got wonderfully quick service and delicious food. I was totally impressed with the way the waitress and the kitchen handled the sudden influx of customers. My sausage Benedict and my friend’s turkey club were excellent and everyone I talked to was very pleased with their experience. Highly recommend!!!

Classic place with a menu that has such good choices! First time we had a cheese roll and it was great! Delicious different types of eggs Benedict. Attentive service and a clean establishment. Will be back!

First time at the Mattapoisett Diner for breakfast . 3 scrambled eggs / home fries and toast . Also an omelette . Both were excellent . Service was also excellent . I’d recommend the Mattapoisett Diner .

Here at a recommendation. Adorable, comfortable, and yum! What else do you need to know?! Coffee ☕️ is hot and good! Try the hash, it’s homemade, crispy, salty goodness. Home fries and over easy eggs 🍳 All cooked as requested and perfect 👍. They take cards, cash and Apple pay too! #winningbreakfast @jasells_boston is a happy camper and glad I stopped here today.

Saturday 8/2 My Wife and I were there today about 10.30 the place was jammed out noticed you got a new waitress My Wife and I noticed that they ran that place like a well oiled machine and our breakfast as it is everytime was awesome everything was hot !!
